Men are sexually assaulted every day, just like women. But abuse on men, either from women or other men, is very often overlooked... like it didn't exist. I always see things about preventing abuse against children, women and animals... but not against men. Why in fuck's name is this?
Common misconceptions:
"MEN CANT BE SEXUALLY ABUSED!!1" Yes, they can, any man can be sexually abused, regardless of his appearance, physical strength, size, sexual orientation, race, occupation, whatever. Most men ignore this, and realize it after being abused.
"ONLY FAGS ABUSE / GET ABUSED!!1" Bullshit. As said before, it doesn't matter what sexual orientation a man identifies himself as, he still can rape anyone, or get raped by anyone, regardless of the sex of the victim/rapist. Anyone can take a baseball bat and shove it up a man's anus.
"MEN CANT BE RAPED BY WOMEN!!1 ONLY WOMEN GET RAPED!1!!!" More bullshit. Women can be rapists too. Refer to baseball bat deal above.
I think that it's is not as acknowledged as female rape is because in most cases, females aren't as strong as a male trying too rape her, and it would be harder the other way around. Also, male rapists who look for other males too rape are described as homosexuals, which are described as feminine. Male rape mostly only happens in jail
Also, I'm not so famous, but I've done a poem on here about it just giving my feelings on my experiences.
